Share the love: Ducks

Oh, I have so many drafts with swatches and hauls. I blame Bones and Lost series for taking my free time. lol

I'm continuing my "tradition" of non-beauty related posts for the weekends.

This time I present you ducks, or ducklings to be exact! :) Got my inspiration from Brooke's awesome post. :) Btw, I still haven't "met" ducklings, just mom-ducks this spring. I guess it's quite cold here for these little guys. Imagine, we had some snow a couple of days ago. :/

I adore ducks and ducklings! These are my favourite birds. :) I remember I was asking for a cute little duckling as a pet when I was a little girl. lol I just turned 27 on Thursday (oh my, time flies! I remember I just turned 18 "the other day"! lol) and I still smile (and act... lol) like a little kid when I see ducks. :) Aren't they adorable? Fluffy little cuties! :)

Awwww!!! :)

Hope you enjoyed!

To be continued! Stay tuned!

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND! :)

PS In case you're interested, these pictures were taken in Barcelona and Valencia (Spain) in summer 2007.

  2. THEY ARE SO CUTE.

I took videos of cute little ducks the other day, they were running across lilypads in a pond :3

  3. Lillian, I could only imagine how soft these little fuzzy-fluffy guys are irl! :) Adult ducks are super cute too. Waiting for our trips to the lake nearby, when I'll be able to feed and interact with these wonderful creatures. They're pretty friendly here.:)

SilhouetteScreams, awww!!! I wanna see!!! :)

  4. I ADORE baby ducks. When I was 5, a cat of the family hunted a baby duck and brought it home. We kept the baby to take care of it so that we could free him but he died some days after. I cried and cried and cried my little duck.

I wanted to photograph some babies the other day. As I was bicycling, I've seen a mum with 14 babies but they were too far from me to ever been able to make a good photo. You made my day. Thank you! :)

(I'm glad you found me, I didn't know your blog!)

  5. jellynat, that's so sad! :(

I took some pictures of "duckling kindergarten" (one duck with around 20 ducklings! Other parents-couples walking or swimming nearby) last week. It was SOOOO CUTE!!! Gotta post those pictures some day! :)

Btw, I found your blog while searching for comparison pictures of Lollipop and Jelly Apple. How cool is that? :)
